Therefore, for the fan industry, how to produce more energy-saving and environmentally friendly fan products is an issue that requires great attention. The industry believes that energy conservation and environmental protection are the eternal theme of the development of the fan industry. So, where should wind turbine manufacturers start?

Relevant experts believe that the research and development of energy-saving fan products must start from the product design and the operation of the fan.

First of all, in terms of design, through the application of scientific research results of impellers, volutes and other components, as well as further improving manufacturing accuracy, we strive to increase the efficiency of various fans by 5% to 10% on average. At present, the advanced centrifugal fan adopts a ternary flow impeller, its high efficiency can reach more than 87%; the more efficient axial fan, its high efficiency has reached 92%.

For example, the 4-71 and 4-74 ternary flow impeller centrifugal fans developed by Shenyang Blower Research Institute in 1992 for the replacement of low- and medium-pressure centrifugal fans are highly efficient and energy-saving new products, and their efficiency is higher than that of old-fashioned fans of the same type. Increased by 4%, the average annual electricity saving per fan is about 2000 kilowatts per hour. However, due to the cumbersome manufacturing process of the ternary flow blade used in this fan, the manufacturing cost is higher than that of the ordinary blade fan. Secondly, use imported technology to develop high-efficiency energy-saving fans. Through the introduction of technology, it has effectively promoted the development of energy-saving ventilator products. During the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" period, wind turbine technology and special-purpose wind turbines should be appropriately introduced according to market demand to fill the gaps in the country.

In addition, it is very important to adjust the speed change mechanism and change the operating conditions of the fan product. At present, most of the fan speed mechanisms are relatively backward. Some products use traditional V-belts and worm gear pairs as speed regulators, and most of them are adjusted by adjusting doors. Due to the above reasons, although some fans have high internal efficiency (over 86%), their device efficiency is not very high, and some are even as low as 30%. With the application of fluid coupling and frequency converter in the fan, the operating efficiency of the fan is greatly improved, but the number of applications is extremely limited.
